On Monday November 13, 2017 the USEPA responded to a diesel oil spill in the Municipality of San Juan. An EPA OSC visited the Site and learned that an unknown amount of diesel fuel was discharged into the storm water drain, threatening the nearby estuary.

This project is being conducted under the authority of the Clean Water Act and the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA 90). This project is being funded with federal money from the OPA90 Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund.
