EPA, START and ERRS mobilized on 3 May 2022 and arrived on site 4 May 2022.
EPA, START and ERRS reviewed HASP and SAP. A site safety brief was conducted with a tribal member working near site and the EPA, START and ERRS crews before any removal actions started on 4 May 2022.
A website was created to keep management, stakeholders and the tribe informed.
START performed hazardous classification for several un-known chemicals found in the lab on 4 May 2022.
START and ERRS identified and segregated chemicals in laboratory. Properly labeled and packaged chemicals for hazardous waste disposal.
Transportation and disposal will need to be scheduled for a future date.
