The state Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) requested EPA to assess a number of orphan wells south of Grandfield, Oklahoma. The wells have been reported leaking into the Red River.  As of 03/31/2022, the state received Infrastructure funds and will address the Plugging and Abandonment (P&A) for the wells.  No further action by EPA is planned.
