This web site is intended to support the Planning Section in an Incident Management Team. It was developed by Region 5 (Steve Renninger) following the Hurricane Katrina response. It was reviewed and expanded during the ICS Symposium. The purpose of the site is to create a tool box for Planning Section Chiefs, Situation Unit Leaders, Resource Unit Leaders, and Environmental Unit Leaders. This web site is intended to be updated as needed by field personnel who serve in the Planning Section with current information and lessons learned as we continue to implement the National Incident Management System.
