At around 0:00 local time the morning of Nov 8, 2013 a train carrying crude oil derailed south of Aliceville, AL causing up to 23 cars to be derailed. Many of the cars caught on fire and several of them were breached. OSC Jordan Garrard was deployed to the scene to work with ADEM and the RP to conduct oversight of the cleanup operations.
